What’s it about?
The Necessity Pantry is founded in the belief that access to personal care items improves health and wellbeing, which turn, provides hope, dignity and a better quality of life.
We offer shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable razors, shaving cream, bath soap, lotion, deodorant, laundry detergent, toilet paper and feminine hygiene and incontinence products.
An Ecumenical Effort
The Necessity Pantry is a cooperative ministry supported by the following Episcopal Churches: Resurrection in Blue Springs, St. Anne’s in Lee’s Summit, Trinity and St. Michael’s in Independence, and St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Independence.
Partners Around the Community
We are proud to work with the following partners: Giving the Basics, Harvesters, Sam’s Club, Walmart; Independence Young Matrons; Junior League of Kansas City; Diocese of West Missouri; and funded in part by a grant from Truman Heartland Community Foundation.
